Greetings everyone:

As I recently stated on a public Facebook post:

As you all may see from my profile, thanks to unwanted attention from certain people, I do not post much on social media. In fact, read it from my official blog. I did not post much before, but I certainly do not now.

In a brief return to social media this past week, a pro EXO comment led to a very much unwanted discussion about politics. Even using the disclaimer that my Facebook wall was not a place for politics was not enough to keep my EXO post a drama free zone.

I do not intend to use my social media accounts for discussion of certain subjects such as politics.

As I have often said in person before:

“I get paid to be dramatic, but you – you do it for free!”
(No this isn’t a specific “you” – that is just my quote.)

No drama is necessary on my social media feeds. Nor is it wanted.

Now as EXO is touring with EXO Planet #5, I have to say goodbye a bit more to social media right now. If anyone thinks my social media space is up for grabs to discuss politics, no worry. I am not making any additional space for that now.

I have great love and admiration for EXO and all its members – past and present. I was first a fan of EXO-M, influenced heavily by my fond memories of my Mandarin Chinese Language classmates, where I first discovered a different group, Transition.

I suppose the reasons why people like what they like and who they do can often only be understood by the individual person.

So, one last post for some bit, Keep Calm and Love EXO. Life – no matter how long it may be – is too short for negativity and stress.

Have a prosperous year everyone.

EXO: 谢谢你们的音乐。

I will no longer be updating social media or this blog for now. Expect only minor updates or downtime for website (technical) updates.

Perhaps sometime I might return again to social media and to updating this blog.

Have a prosperous year everyone.

To My Merrik

Thank you everyone for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. My precious (furry) boy Merrik passed on earlier this morning, exactly one month shy of his fifteenth birthday. Though I’m heartbroken to see him go, I try to remember the fond times, and I know he was happy with all of us and knew he was very loved.

I have recently moved to a dog friendly place, and I am glad he got to see it. I don’t regret any of my many years with him. He was surrounded by his close family and always knew he was loved. I will miss him very much, and I am thankful for his time with all of my family.

He loved us unconditionally, and no day passed when he did not show his love for us. He made our lives so much fuller.
