Chapter Two: Dragon’s Secret
Flying into the main room of the tenth division, Hitsugaya called to his fukutaicho, “Matsumoto, you’re in charge for the rest of the day. I’ll be in my room. And don’t slack off!”
Normally Rangiku Matsumoto would whine about having too much to do, but she saw just who her taicho was carrying.
“Why the hell couldn’t Toshiro think that spending the night with the mother of Kenpachi Zaraki’s child was a bad idea?” Would be a thought most would have. As to Matsumoto, she knew better. She knew.
Toshiro’s lips covered Shirahime’s the moment his door closed. He froze the door shut.
“Pissed yet, Kail?” he prompted.
He kissed her again, this time experimenting with his tongue.
Only to have her nearly bite it.
No, it wasn’t her, it was him.
He shouldn’t be taking advantage of the situation, but he placed his hand on her leg,
This was driving him out of his mind. He could do things with her body, but it would not be the same. Kail was there right now, looking about ready to murder him.
“She wouldn’t like a boy kissing her like a man,” Kail warned.
Toshiro was the youngest taicho. And to everyone (at least he thought), he was anything but an adult.
Kail’s stare challenged him.
“You’re an idiot, little reaper, if you think we both don’t know.”
Toshiro Hitsugaya was anything but a child. He had his reasons for hiding his true self. Another advantage of his current form was dampening some “adult” type emotions. The implications of Shirahime spending the night with anyone opened the flood gate of those adult emotions. Every time he looked at Kenpachi Zaraki, he imagined Shirahime running her hands through Toshiro’s hair instead of Zaraki’s, kissing him. He knew the sounds well. Sometimes Matsumoto didn’t damper her room enough when one the male shinigamis spent the night with her. He never imagined himself with Matsumoto but imagined himself with Shirahime.
Toshiro didn’t want to believe Shirahime and Kail knew of his secret.
There was one advantage to Kail being here. He could use Kail as an excuse to make out with Shirahime’s body. If she ever wondered, he would just say he did it to make Kail angry and get him under control.
But once, at least one, he wanted Shirahime to kiss him back.
SOUL SOCIETY – ELEVENTH DIVISION
Tatsuya Hidaka, sixth seat of the eleventh division sighed as he watched Hitsugaya Taicho take off.
“I’m not sure if we should be relieved or panicked taicho is out right now,” he admitted to Shinjiro and his superiors.
Shinjiro looked to him. “Panicked. I’d vote for panicked.”
“Taicho didn’t say you should have a demonstration,” Tatsuya said to Yumichika.
“I couldn’t help it,” Yumichika said.
“You could have spent a few hours alone with her venting your frustration instead. Surely even someone who loves to fight would prefer that other sort of fighting?”
By now, Ikkaku, Tatsuya, and Shinjiro knew Yumichika was Shirahime’s second lover. They all knew who she really was and about that other being that lived inside of her. They knew Sou Taicho might kill them all for hiding Shirahime’s identity, but one does not survive being in the eleventh division being afraid.
“Don’t you think I would have rather spent my time ripping her clothes off?” Yumichika asked.
“I did not need to hear that,” Ikkaku complained.
“Why, did you want to watch?” Yumichika asked.
“No,” he snapped, “I do not like -.”
“Women or just her?” Yumichika asked. “I don’t care for you in that way, Ikkaku. Now I have hime-sama, and I don’t need to play around with others.”
“But you have to share with Zaraki.”
“Yeah, and if Zaraki offered to share a man with you, you’d agree, wouldn’t you? You want to be in hime-sama’s place, don’t you?”
“Guys,” Shinjiro interrupted. “I don’t think you want everyone else to know. They are starting to stare at us.”
“Well?” Tatsuya prompted.
“I’ll take care of it,” Shinjiro muttered.
Shinjiro turned to face the others.
“Damn it. I get no one takes from taicho, but why the hell must it be Hitsugaya?” he yelled.
The other three shared a look.
“That’s why she shouldn’t be here. No women should be here,” the ninth seat insisted.
“What did you say?” Yumichika asked.
“She doesn’t belong here. I know you’ve got a thing for taicho, Ayasegawa, and that’s why you stay around her all the time. Wouldn’t you love for taicho to send her on her way so he can be like he used to be?”
“Define ‘send her on her way’,” Ikkaku challenged.
“Take what he wants from her one last time and throw her out or cut her up. He likes blood enough he’d probably go for the second option.”
Yumichika drew his zanpakuto. The others did as well.
“I think maybe we should bleed you instead,” Yumichika suggested.
“Good idea,” Ikkaku agreed. “Though maybe we should leave something left of him for taicho to take care of. He may get mad if we have all the fun.”
“Are you all so weak it takes four of you to take me on?”
“No. I’ll do it,” Yumichika vowed.
“Taicho must be really good in bed for you to be so desperate to protect his little princess,” the man goaded. “I suppose you’ve been watching them. Want to be her then?”
“I assure you, she’s the one that’s better. Who else but a god made flesh would make him beg the way I’ve seen him? Surely any man in their right mind would envy taicho and not her. Even if they only liked men.”
“Yeah, surely,” Ikkaku agreed. “Let’s be honest, we’d all have her if that what she wanted.”
“Really?” Shinjiro asked. Ikkaku was not too fond of her. But he sounded serious this time, not putting on an act.
“I know you’d do anything she wanted,” Ikkaku said.
